The this kitchen transformation is a prime example of our team’s ability to take a basic kitchen and turn it into a modern, family-centered space. After purchasing their dream home, this family sought to transform their kitchen into something more than just functional. They needed a space that not only fit their growing family’s everyday needs but also served as a perfect setting for entertaining friends and extended family. Having worked with their parents on a previous project, the Laswells trusted us to bring their vision to life.
Their request was straightforward: a modern, stylish kitchen that would become the heart of their home. We started with a complete redesign of the kitchen layout, featuring custom cabinetry from M&H Cabinetry. Key elements included a large kitchen island for added workspace and seating, a dedicated bourbon and wine station, and a personalized coffee station. Each of these areas was thoughtfully designed to provide both functionality and a sense of luxury.
One of the highlights of the transformation was the choice of materials, especially the countertops. For the kitchen perimeter, island, and coffee station, we selected Encore – Calacatta Firenze quartz, known for its durability and elegant veining, provided by Trademark Universal Stone. The island became the focal point of the kitchen, offering a perfect balance of beauty and practicality. The dry bar featured Midnight Mist quartz, adding a rich contrast to the lighter tones throughout the kitchen. We also added a mitred quartz front panel on the WOLF 36″ contemporary gas cooktop, which gave the kitchen a sleek, modern look.
To ensure that the space was as functional as it was beautiful, we integrated new LED lighting throughout the kitchen, along with under-cabinet lights to enhance both the ambiance and task lighting. We worked with Laswell Electric Company to install hidden outlets, keeping the countertops clutter-free and maintaining the kitchen’s clean lines. New flooring tied the entire space together, offering both style and durability.
In terms of appliances, they wanted only the best for their new kitchen, and we made sure to deliver. We installed a range of high-end appliances from Bonnycastle Appliances, including a Monogram 27″ wall oven, Monogram counter-depth fridge, GE microwave drawer, WOLF 36″ contemporary gas cooktop, and a Bosch 800 series 24″ dishwasher. A Ferguson Signature Hardware stainless steel sink was also incorporated, blending practicality with sleek design.
Throughout the project, our talented craftsmen worked meticulously to ensure every detail was perfect.
